| 4/7/2013 6:57:31 AM | In my experience, runinng a forum is a huge time commitment for very little benefit.Forums work when a critical mass of discussion is available in one spot, usually from different groups. A single-site forum never meets that requirement.You are better off with even a fairly lame forum implementation at a popular site, for example the LinkedIn discussion groups.Note: I ran 50+ internal newsgroups at Hewlett-Packard in the 80 s and 90 s, and also ran a product forum for Ultraseek. |

Building long data reotrps is almost exclusively what I was hoping to do with cfdocument when I upgraded to MX and I have been severely dissapointed in the ability of cfdocument to cleanly scale and paginate tables that flow from page to page. They end up munging rows between pages which become completely unreadable. |
